Orionex Digital Solutions (AutoInsight), one of three UGM student teams participating in the Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2025 national entrepreneurship competition, won first place in the Early Stage Startup (ESS) category. With this achievement, Orionex Digital Solutions (AutoInsight) is entitled to receive development funds amounting to IDR 100,000,000, business mentoring worth IDR 25,000,000, and the opportunity to participate in an exclusive overseas business program facilitated by PT Pertamina (Persero). Orionex Solusi Digital (AutoInsight) was developed by Bellatrix Gracia Antemeng (Biomedical Engineering) and Rafael Revolusiandro Naranisputra Hutapea (Accounting) to provide Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solutions to support collaborative and efficient business digitalization.
Meanwhile, two other UGM student teams participated in the competition. The first is Team Edus.id, developed by Vicky Rian Saputra (Political Science and Government) and Shahrin Nuri Ramadhani. This team focuses on developing an edutech platform based on parenting education that combines technology and child psychology. Then there is the Greentech.id Team, initiated by Arief Putra Pratama (Mechanical Engineering) and Muhammad Nabil Alfaizi. This team carries out innovations in environmentally friendly products in the form of EcoPave and EcoStep, paving and flooring made from plastic waste, rice husks, and used oil.
The Director of Student Affairs at UGM, Dr. Hempri Suyatna, S.Sos., M.Si, is proud and grateful that the three teams of students from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) have successfully advanced to the final stage of the Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2025 competition organized by PT Pertamina (Persero). The three teams showcased innovations in the fields of education, green technology, and business digitalization. “These three UGM student teams represent UGM students in the national entrepreneurship event, and we are grateful that the Orionex Solusi Digital (AutoInsight) team won,” he said at the UGM Campus on Thursday (30/10).
Hempri explained that Pertamuda Seed and Scale is a national student business idea competition aimed at strengthening the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This competition also encourages the creation of startups and expands the contribution of the younger generation to national energy transformation. “This year, Pertamuda carries the theme ‘Empowering Indonesia’s Sustainable Future’, marking five years since the program was first launched in 2021,” he explained.
By participating in the competition, said Hepri, it is proof of UGM’s consistency in supporting student entrepreneurship development. The achievements of the startup team are certainly something to be proud of and continue to strengthen UGM’s commitment to developing young entrepreneurs at UGM. “UGM continues to strive to develop an entrepreneurial development ecosystem that is expected to encourage student-managed entrepreneurship to be sustainable,” he explained.
For Hempri, the participation of UGM students in Pertamuda 2025 is part of the university’s efforts to strengthen an innovation- and sustainability-based entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through the support of various units and business incubators on campus, UGM continues to encourage students to develop ideas that are applicable, socially oriented, and contribute to national development.
Bellatrix Gracia Antemeng added that the Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2025 national entrepreneurship competition was attended by 3,586 participants. They came from 759 universities in 35 provinces throughout Indonesia. Through a multi-layered selection process, 40 teams were selected to participate in the Bootcamp stage, then narrowed down to 29 teams in the Demoday stage, and the 17 best teams advanced to the Final Pitch & Awarding held at The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center. “We are grateful that three teams of students from Gadjah Mada University made it to the final stage of the Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2025 national entrepreneurship competition, and our team was able to win,” he said.
