Last Monday, July 25, 2022, the signing of the cooperation agreement for the Kedaireka Matching Fund 2022 grant program batch 2 and 3. The signing took place at the Auditorium on the 2nd floor of building D of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta. On that occasion the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Prof.Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D., IPU, Asean Eng, directly handed over the grant documents to the recipients of the 2022 Kedaireka Matching Fund. The event was also attended by rectors from various universities in Indonesia who were also recipients of the aid Kedaireka Matching Fund 2022 grants batch 2 and 3.
Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in batches 2 and 3 succeeded in obtaining funding as many as 45 proposals that passed funding from the undergraduate program. According to Mr. Sang Kompyang Wirawan, ST, MT, Ph.D., as secretary of the UGM Directorate of Business Development and Incubation (PUI), said that this number is the highest compared to other universities’ gains. During the opening of the Kedaireka Matching Fund 2022 program batches 1,2, and 3, UGM always ranked first both in the number of proposals submitted and the number of proposals that passed.
The proposers who receive the Matching Fund 2022 aid are expected to be able to make the best use of the mandate in order to obtain maximum results and be able to contribute to the progress of the nation. Then the process of utilizing funds will also continue to be monitored by the Ditjen Dikti through the Kedaireka platform so that all use of funds can be carried out in an accountable and transparent manner in order to create a sustainable funding system and accelerate the synergy between universities and industry, which is in line with the vision of the Merdeka Campus. In addition, the Directorate PUI UGM is also trying as much as possible so that the Matching Fund program can run well. The Directorate PUI UGM will facilitate and coordinate with the UGM finance and procurement sector in assisting the needs of the funding recipients to run optimally.
