Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Science Techno Park (UGM STP) participated in NUSRI’s InnovFest Suzhou 2024, held on November 18-19 at NUS Research Institute (NUSRI) Suzhou, China. This prestigious event offered startups a platform to showcase their potential and forge international partnerships.
UGM STP, through BLOCK71’s support, showcased two outstanding startups: Banoo and Kemedis. Banoo specializes in aquaculture, utilizing AI-powered fisheries management systems. Kemedis focuses on healthcare, developing AI-driven Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Both startups received the Startup Grant from Indonesia’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) through the PRIME STeP program.
This participation demonstrates UGM STP’s collaboration with the National University of Singapore in mentoring and supporting startups. BLOCK71, NUS’s business incubator, has previously collaborated with UGM STP in various startup initiatives.
