On Thursday, January 19 2023, Universitas Gadjah Mada through the UGM Science Techno Park (STP) received a visit from the Ahmad Dahlan University Business and Investment Affairs Office (KUBI UAD). The UAD KUBI team was welcomed by a team from the UGM Science Techno Park, namely Mr. Arief Sudarsono, S.T., M.Eng. as Head of the Science and Technology Park Subdirectorate, Directorate of Business Development and Incubation.
Through this visit, Mr. Arief Sudarsono, S.T., M.Eng. as the Head of the Science and Technology Park Sub-Directorate, Directorate of Business Development and Incubation, gave a presentation regarding various UGM Science Techno Park programs, starting from product results funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture, and grants, followed by a presentation regarding existing facilities at the UGM Science Techno Park. In the presentation it was stated that health and pharmacy were one of the priorities for downstreaming innovation at UGM. Innovations in the health cluster consist of health (Promotive, Curative, Preventive)
Medicine Raw Materials, Herbs and Phytopharmaceuticals, Healthy Food) from the agro and energy side (Healthcare Optimation). There were various health and agro innovation products exhibited during the visit, such as in the health sector there were Ina Shunt, NPC Strip G, and CeraSpon, while in the agro sector, Kasabi, My Cookies, and Wedang Uwuh Instan products were exhibited as a banquet during the discussion.
The UAD KUBI team and the UGM Science Techno Park team were invited to tour the UGM Science Techno Park starting from the UGM STP Office Building, the Medical Equipment Production Building I, the Healthy Food Production Building, and the Herbal and Health Building. At the end of this visit KUBI UAD and UGM STP introduced innovative products to each other as souvenirs for benchmarking visits.
